The baking mix contains everything except fresh ingredients to make the fruity cake in no time.The moist mole cake has a fluffy cream chocolate flake strawberry filling and is decorated with dark sponge cake crumbs.

Whether for a birthday cake, for coffee or as a sweet surprise for in between - the strawberry mole cake is always a good idea.

The baking mix for the cake is easy to prepare, so even inexperienced bakers can conjure up a delicious cake in no time, which will delight everyone.

And here's how easy it is:
This is what the package contains: 240 g baking mix for the dough 105 g mix for the topping Also needed: Springform pan (Ø 26 cm), e.g. Dr. Oetker some fat Just add: 100 g soft margarine or butter 2 eggs (size M) 75 ml (6 tablespoons) milk 500 g strawberries 400 g cold whipped cream 100 ml cold water 1 Prepare & make the dough Grease the springform pan base. Preheat oven. Top/bottom heat: about 170°C Hot air: about 150°C Put the baking mixture for the dough into a mixing bowl, add margarine or butter, eggs and milk. Mix everything with a mixer (beaters) briefly on lowest speed, then on highest speed for 3 minutes to a smooth dough. Spread batter in springform pan until smooth. 2 Bake Place pan on rack in oven. Baking time: approx. 30 min. Loosen springform pan rim. Remove cake from springform pan base, but let it cool on a cake rack. Place cooled base on a cake plate. Using a tablespoon, scoop out bottom to a depth of 1/2 cm, leaving a 1 cm border. Coarsely crumble remaining pastry crumbs in a bowl. 3 Prepare topping Wash, clean and halve strawberries. Whip cream until stiff. Place mixture for topping in a mixing bowl. Add water and whisk until smooth. Fold in cream in 2 portions. Spread 4 tablespoons of the cream on the base. Place strawberries, cut side down, on top of cream. Spread the rest of the cream on the base in a dome shape up to the edge and sprinkle with the pastry crumbs, pressing down a little if necessary. Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours.
