Baking fun for the little ones
The RUF building block cake was specially developed for children to offer them a unique and fun baking experience. The complete set contains everything you need to bake and decorate a delicious cake in the shape of building blocks. The practical preparation videos and tips make the baking process easier and make it easy for even small hands to achieve great results. This allows children to let their creativity run wild and proudly present their own masterpiece.

Add:
For the dough:
3 eggs (size M)
170 ml cooking oil
150 ml of water
For the glazes:
approx. 1 tablespoon (10 ml) of lukewarm water
preparation
Preparation for a sheet cake:
1. PREPARE THE DOUGH
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C top/bottom heat or 160 °C fan oven.
- Put the baking mix and dough ingredients into the bowl.
- Mix with a mixer for about 3 minutes until creamy.
2. BAKING THE DOUGH
- Grease and flour a deep baking tray (30 x 40 cm).
- Spread the dough on the baking tray.
- Bake the cake for about 20-25 minutes.
- Use a wooden skewer to check whether the cake is baked through.
- Let the cake cool on a baking tray.
- Cut about 1.5 cm off the edges.
3. GLAZING
- Mix glaze mixtures in 4 bowls with 1 tablespoon of lukewarm water each.
- Add water drop by drop until the glaze is easy to spread.
- Cut the sheet cake into quarters and separate them with strips of baking paper.
- Cut the cake into the desired individual pieces according to the blueprint.
- Spread each quarter with a layer of glaze.
4. DECORATE
- Distribute chocolate chips evenly on the cake in matching colors (see construction plan).
- Allow glazes to harden for approx. 15 minutes.
- Cut along the individual building block cuts.
