Crunchy biscuits - tasty small pastries to keep in stock RUF's crunchy biscuits are an aromatic snack to go with tea, cocoa or coffee. It's always cookie time, because the delicious biscuits taste just as good in winter as they do in summer. The small pastries with a fine buttery taste can be decorated to your heart's content. Just add soft butter and egg, put the dough in the fridge for 30 minutes and the cookie dough is ready to be cut out. Whether decorated with brittle or colorful decorations: creative hobby bakers can really let off steam with the crunchy biscuits!

Put the baking mix, butter and egg in a mixing bowl. Use an electric hand mixer (dough hook) on a medium setting to make crumbles. Then knead by hand to form a smooth dough and shape into a ball. Leave the dough to rest in the fridge for about 30 minutes. A longer cooling time makes it easier to roll out the dough. If the dough is too firm, knead it briefly on a floured work surface. Roll out the dough on a floured work surface to a thickness of 3-5 mm, cut out with cookie cutters and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake in the preheated oven on the middle rack. The baking time can vary depending on the thickness and size of the cookies. Decorate the cooled cookies as desired with RUF cake icing and RUF decorations.
