Apple tart - fruity cake enjoyment based on a tried and tested recipe A special treat made from juicy apples, fluffy cream and delicious shortcrust pastry: RUF apple tart tastes good at any time of year and can be prepared in no time at all. Simply mix the baking mixture with butter and an egg and pour into a baking tin. Then cut the apples into small pieces and bring to the boil briefly in a pan with the custard powder. Spread the filling over the dough and bake for 60 minutes. Decorate the cooled apple tart with cream and the cinnamon-sugar mixture. An apple pie dream that also makes a harmonious dessert!

Top/bottom heat: approx. 175 °C
Convection: approx. 150 °C
Baking time: approx. 60 minutes

For the pastry:
100 g soft butter
1 egg (size M)

For the filling:
approx. 1 kg apples
500 ml water

For the cream:
250 g cold cream

Preparation

Prepare the dough:
Place the baking mix, soft butter and egg in a mixing bowl and mix to a dough using an electric hand mixer (dough hook). Pour the dough into a springform pan (Ø 26 cm) lined with baking paper, press down firmly on the base and sides to create a rim approx. 2 cm high. Prepare the filling and bake:
Wash, peel and core the apples and cut into small pieces. Mix the cream powder with approx. 5 tbsp water. Bring the remaining water to the boil and add the cream powder, stirring constantly, and bring to the boil briefly. Stir in the apple pieces. Pour the apple mixture into the springform tin and smooth out. Bake the cake in the middle of the preheated oven. Cool and garnish:
After baking, leave the cake to cool in the tin for approx. 2 hours and then remove from the tin. Whip the cold cream until stiff, brush the cake with the cream and sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar.
