As the baking mix is made 100% without gluten, it is a tasty and guaranteed alternative for anyone who is gluten intolerant. The typical marbling of the cake brings back childhood memories of grandma's coffee table and makes the sweet treat the perfect partner for coffee or tea. Guests are guaranteed to ask for another large piece. Delicious!

3 eggs (size M)
1 tablespoon water for the dark dough

Prepare the dough:
Put the baking mix, soft margarine or butter and eggs in a mixing bowl and mix briefly with the electric hand mixer (whisk) on the lowest setting, then mix on the highest setting for about 3 minutes until creamy. Baking:
Grease a loaf pan (25 cm) and dust with starch, then add 2/3 of the dough. Stir the cocoa mixture and 1 tablespoon of water into the remaining dough. Spread the dark dough on top of the light dough. Use a fork to pull the dough through both layers in a spiral to create a marbled structure. Bake the cake in the preheated oven on the middle shelf. After about 15 minutes of baking, cut the cake lengthwise about 1 cm deep. Before removing it, use a wooden skewer to check whether the cake is done. Cooling:
After baking, remove the cake from the tin and place it on a wire rack to cool.
