Coconut macaroons - a juicy classic cookie for Advent and Christmas These classics ring in the Advent season: RUF coconut macaroons are crispy on the outside and wonderfully soft on the inside. This is exactly how they taste best for young and old. The light and delicate biscuits are quick and easy to make with the RUF baking mix. The wafers are also included in the pack. All you have to do is separate the eggs and add the egg whites to the mix. This way, Christmas baking can begin in a completely relaxed manner!

Preparation temperature

Top and bottom heat: approx. 170 °C
Convection: approx. 150 °C
Baking time: approx. 17 - 20 minutes

Prepare
Separate the eggs. Put the baking mix and the egg whites into a mixing bowl and mix briefly with an electric hand mixer (whisk) on a medium setting until it forms a mass.
Bake
Place the baking sheets on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Spread the coconut macaroon mixture onto the baking sheets using 2 teaspoons (or by hand) and bake on the middle shelf of the preheated oven.
If you use convection, the baking time will be extended by approx. 5 minutes.
Allow to cool
Remove the coconut macaroons from the oven and let them cool on the baking tray.
