In Dr. Oetker Gelier-Fruchzucker, some of the sugar has been reduced and replaced by sweeteners. So you can use it to make your own fruity sweet but 40% calorie reduced jams, marmalades and jellies. The balanced mixture based on fruit sugar allows even the calorie-conscious to enjoy sweet jams. Per package of Gelier-Fruchzucker (350g) you need 1000g of prepared fruit or 900ml of juice. The gelling fruit sugar contains the vegetable gelling agent pectin. Since gelling agent and fruit sugar are already mixed, the preparation is particularly quick and easy. Fruity-sweet jams, marmalades and jellies are guaranteed to succeed withDr. Oetker Gelier-Fruchzucker.
Preparation:
1. Cut the prepared fruit very finely or crush it into a pulp and weigh out the appropriate amount or measure out the fruit juice. 2. 2. mix fruit/fruit juice with jelly-fruit sugar in a large saucepan. Bring everything to a boil over high heat, stirring constantly, and boil for at least 3 minutes until bubbling. 3. 3. skim off boiling liquid if necessary, immediately fill to the brim in prepared glasses. Close with screw caps (Twist-off®), invert and leave on lids for about 5 min.
