The cream puffs convince not only by their airy consistency, but also by their delicious cream, the fresh strawberries and the refreshing strawberry sauce.

Whether as an alternative for the birthday cake, for drinking coffee or as a sweet surprise for in between - the cream puffs are a great baking idea for friends and family who have a preference for fruity and airy desserts.

The choux pastry of the cream puff baking mix is simply stirred cold, so even inexperienced bakers can conjure up the delicious pastry with a guarantee of success in no time at all.

And here's how easy it is:
This is what the package contains: 95 g baking mix for the dough 35 g mix for the topping 30 g mix for the strawberry sauce 10 g decorating sugar Also needed: Baking tray Baking paper Just add: 100 ml milk 50 ml (4 tbsp) cooking oil, e.g. rapeseed oil 3 eggs (size M) 500 g strawberries 400 g cold whipped cream 1 Prepare dough and bake Cover baking tray with baking paper. Preheat oven. Top/bottom heat: about 200°C Hot air: about 180°C Put the baking mixture for the dough into a mixing bowl. Add milk, oil and eggs. Mix everything with a mixer (stirring sticks) briefly on lowest, then 2 min. on highest speed to a smooth dough. Using 2 tablespoons, place 8 portions of dough on the baking sheet. Put the baking tray into the oven. Baking time: about 30 min. Note: Do not open the oven door during the first 15 min. of baking time, otherwise the pastry will collapse. Let the cream puffs cool on a cake rack. 2 Prepare the cream Cut the cream puffs once horizontally with a sharp knife. Wash and clean the strawberries, cut them in half and set aside 100 g of them. Whip cream briefly in a mixing bowl with a mixer (beaters). Sift in mixture for topping and beat on highest speed until stiff. Divide cream evenly among the 8 bottom halves. Spread 3 cream puffs of strawberries on top of the cream. Mash 100 g strawberries with the mixture for the sauce on a deep plate with a fork and mix. Spread the sauce on the strawberries. Place the lids on top and sprinkle with the decorative sugar before serving. TIP: For 16 small cream puffs, portion the dough with teaspoons and bake for only about 20 minutes.
