The classic should not be missing on any coffee table: The Lambertz Baumkuchen with fine dark chocolate is prepared with carefully selected ingredients. The special German pastry with fine dark chocolate, butter and fine marzipan is still a masterpiece of the confectioner's art! It was invented around 1800 by a confectioner in Salzwedel. The production is still the same today as it was then. By hand, up to 15 thin sponge dough layers are applied on a roller and baked individually. Cut into wafer-thin slices, you will feel the delicate taste of marzipan, the finest sponge dough and melt-in-the-mouth dark chocolate, making it less sweet than the milk chocolate version.
