Cooled shipping
Shipping option for heat-sensitive food, such as chocolate, candies, etc.
From now on, we offer this shipping option for worldwide shipping of heat-sensitive goods in high summer temperatures. Just add this item once to your shopping cart and all ordered items that need to be protected from heat will be additionally wrapped by us in insulating foil with cooling pads, so that cooling is guaranteed for approx. 36 - 48 hours, during the shipping time of your package.
The reusable mini cooling pads from World-Bio have a PE back and a cloth on the other side, they are placed in water for about 10 minutes so that the granules contained swell, then dried and frozen for about 8 hours.
When thawing during shipping time, no water will leak out, the pads will flatten and you can put them in water again, dry them and freeze them to use again for lunch boxes for example.

Nevertheless, when ordering heat-sensitive goods in the summer months, we recommend that you always select express shipping, despite cooled shipping, to ensure continuous cooling of the goods. We do not take any responsibility for goods melted in transit.
