Not only hearty meat dishes call for a delicious sauce. Also bread dumplings with meat or vegetables go ideally with Maggi pepper cream sauce, a real sauce classic. The pepper cream sauce is also ideal for steaks of any kind and with pork tenderloin, loin or pork medallions, meatballs and escalopes it also cuts a very good figure.
Spicy onions and green peppercorns give the sauce a delicious, hearty, spicy flavor. Thanks to whipped cream, the sauce is also wonderfully creamy. A real treat for the palate!
Preparation: Homemade dark pepper sauce:
Simply stir the contents of the bag into 200ml of cold water with a whisk. Bring the sauce to a boil and simmer on low heat for 1 minute, stirring occasionally. Then stir in 50ml - or 4EL - of whipped cream and let it get hot - done.
For further enhancement or refinement on festive occasions, you can also mix in a little alcohol: A pepper cream sauce with cognac makes to many dishes that certain extra.
