RUF fruit cake dough - the simple basis for juicy creations With the RUF fruit cake dough, you can effortlessly make delicious and juicy fruit cakes of various kinds. The versatile and easy-to-prepare basic dough goes well with a wide range of fruits, allows for extensive creativity and guarantees optimal enjoyment. Its looseness and lightness make it the perfect choice for anyone who values quality and ease of use.

Top and bottom heat: approx. 180 °C
Convection: approx. 160 °C
Baking time: approx. 25 minutes

Prepare the dough:
Put the base mixture, eggs and butter or margarine in a mixing bowl and mix briefly with the electric hand mixer (whisk) on the lowest setting, then mix on the highest setting for about 1 minute until creamy. Baking:
Grease and flour a fruit cake tin (Ø 28 cm) or springform tin (Ø 26 cm), put the dough in and smooth it out. Bake the cake in the lower third of the preheated oven. Before removing, use a wooden skewer to check whether the base is baked through. Cool and top:
After baking, immediately turn the base out onto a wire rack lined with baking paper and allow to cool.
Cover the base with fruit as desired and pour the icing over it.

We recommend baking the fruit base using top/bottom heat.
