Baking mix for 2 x 12 quark doughnuts

It's that easy:

This is what the package contains: 2 x 150g baking mix for the dough, 2 x 60g sugar. Just add (for 12 pieces): 1 egg (size M), 125g quark (20% fat) or, where quark is not available, sour cream, approx. 4 tbsp (40ml) cooking oil, e.g. rapeseed oil. Also required: baking paper. Preparation: Cut baking paper to fit the size of the airfryer and place one sheet inside. Note: Observe the manufacturer's instructions for the airfryer. Prepare the dough: Put the baking mix for the dough into a mixing bowl. Add egg and quark or sour cream and mix everything with an electric mixer (dough hooks) first on the lowest, then on the highest setting, to form a smooth dough. Shape and bake: Pour about 2 tablespoons of oil onto a large plate. Take small portions of dough with a tablespoon. Shape these into balls in the oil with 2 tablespoons or with oiled hands. Place the balls with space between them on the baking paper and, if necessary, bake them one after another. Baking temperature: approx. 190 °C, baking time: approx. 5 min. Turn the balls with the help of 2 tablespoons and bake until done. Baking time: approx. 5 min. Carefully remove the hot quark doughnuts, immediately brush with some of the remaining oil and roll in sugar. Preparation in a pot/deep fryer: Deep-fry the quark doughnuts in hot deep-frying fat (heat deep-frying fat in a pot or deep fryer to approx. 175°C, so that bubbles form around a wooden spoon handle held in the fat) for 4-5 min (turn occasionally if necessary).
