Dr. Oetker Baking Mix for "Airfryer Churro Bites" 300g / 10.58oz NET. WT.

Dr. Oetker Airfryer Churro Bites bring cinnamon-sweet fairground indulgence directly into your own kitchen. The two enclosed sachets make a total of 40 small churro bites, which bake up crispy on the outside in the airfryer and remain pleasantly soft on the inside. The included cinnamon sugar provides the typical sweet note that reminds you of funfairs and Christmas markets.

Only one egg, butter, and water are needed for preparation. The churro bites recipe dough is quickly mixed, easy to pipe onto baking paper, and then baked in the airfryer without traditional deep-frying – completely without an oil bath, without odor, and without the hassle of disposal.

Whether as a dessert, a small snack in between, or for a spontaneous craving for something sweet: The Airfryer Churro Bites provide uncomplicated moments of enjoyment and make the airfryer a versatile companion in the kitchen.

And it's that easy:

20 pieces This is what the package contains: 120 g baking mix for the dough 30 g cinnamon sugar Only add: For the dough: 1 egg (size M) 30 g soft butter 125 ml water For brushing: approx. 25 g butter Also needed: Baking paper piping bag with star nozzle (Ø 15 mm) 1 Prepare and make the dough Cut baking paper to fit the size of the airfryer. Put the baking mix for the dough into a small mixing bowl. Add egg, butter, and water and mix everything with a mixer (dough hooks) first on the lowest, then on the highest setting, to form a smooth dough. 2 Shape and bake Fill the dough in small portions into a piping bag with a star nozzle (Ø 15 mm). Pipe about 5 cm long strands of dough onto the baking paper, leaving some space, and possibly bake them one after another. Note: Observe the manufacturer's instructions for the airfryer. Baking temperature: approx. 200 °C Baking time: 5 - 6 min. Turn the churros with the help of 2 spoons or forks and finish baking. Baking time: 5 - 6 min. 3 Brush and sugar Melt the butter. Carefully remove the hot churro bites, brush them all around with butter while still hot, roll them in cinnamon sugar, and serve immediately. The churros taste best warm! Preparation without a piping bag: Prepare the baking mix for the dough with only 100 ml water, 1 egg, and 30 g butter to form a dough. Roll the dough into thumb-thick strands. Carefully score the dough strands lengthwise with a fork, cut them into pieces about 5 cm long, and place them on the baking paper, leaving some space. Tip: Alternatively, heat deep-frying fat in a deep fryer or pot to 175°C until bubbles form around a wooden spoon handle held in the fat. Fry the churros until golden brown and drain them on kitchen paper.
