By adding fruit juice or water, Dr. Oetker Tortenguss klar creates a glaze for all fruit cakes. With Dr. Oetker cake glaze clear, all fruits make a brilliant impression. It is easy to prepare, sure to succeed and cut-resistant.
The contents of the bag are sufficient for 250 ml of liquid when sugar is added.
And here's how easy it is:
1. Mix 1 pck. cake glaze with 2 tbsp. sugar in a small saucepan and gradually add 250 ml / 8.45 fl.oz. cold water or liquid* with a stirring spoon until smooth. *If canning liquid of apricots, peaches or plums, add additional 3 tbsp. liquid; if canning cherries, please mix canning liquid and water in equal parts. 2. bring the liquid to a boil, stirring constantly, and boil briefly. Immediately spread the glaze evenly from the center using a tablespoon and allow to set.
