Now things are getting spooky: These Halloween muffins glow in the dark under the light of the included UV lamp!
Simply bake 12 cupcakes, cover them with buttercream, and decorate with the frosting. Then, light them up with a UV lamp in a dark room to give them a spooky glow!

And it’s that simple:
LET'S GO! Here's your checklist: Grab an apron, tie back your long hair, and wash your hands with soapy water. Be sure to have an adult help you so your baking fun can begin! Please read the safety instructions on the back of the box before you begin. Step 1 - MAKE THE CUPCAKES 1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan/gas mark 4. Be careful when using the oven. Ask an adult for help. 2. Place the muffin cases in a muffin tin. 3. In a bowl, mix the cake mix, margarine, milk, and egg. Then beat the mixture (by hand or with an electric mixer) for 2-3 minutes, or until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Ask an adult for help; be careful when using the electric mixer. 4. Spoon the mixture evenly into the 12 muffin cases. 5. Bake for 25 minutes or until the cupcakes are a light golden color. Ask an adult for help; be careful when using the oven. 6. Remove from the oven, have an adult help you (be careful, they will be hot), and let them cool completely before decorating. Step 2 - FOR THE BUTTERCREAM ICING 1. First, cream the margarine until soft. Ask an adult for help. 2. Add the buttercream mix and beat with an electric mixer on medium power or by hand until the buttercream is light and fluffy. Add small amounts of milk if you prefer a smoother, lighter buttercream. 3. Spread the buttercream evenly among the 12 cupcakes. Step 3 - GLOW IN THE DARK ICING 1. Empty the sachet of glow in the dark icing into a bowl or mug. Start by adding 1 1/2 teaspoons of water and stir well. If the icing is a little thick, add a few more drops of water. It's best to add small amounts at a time. Thicker icing is easier to decorate, so you can always add a little water, but don't leave it out. 2. Drizzle or decorate your cupcakes with the glow in the dark icing. Turn off the lights and use your flashlight to see them glow. Top tip 1 - Find the darkest place in your house. Make sure all the lights are off and the curtains are drawn when using your flashlight to get the best out of your glow in the dark cupcakes. Top tip 2 - Pipe the glow in the dark icing to create more detailed designs. If you don't have a piping bag, you can make one from a freezer bag. Simply put your icing in a freezer bag, snip off the corner, and pipe. Storing your cakes Decorated cupcakes can be stored in an airtight container but should be eaten within 4 days.
