The classic gelling sugar for jams, marmalades and jellies for canning in the mixing ratio of one part fruit to one part gelling sugar. Thus, in each cooking process, 1 kg of fruit is processed with 1 kg of 1plus1 gelling sugar (equivalent to one packet). In this way, the aroma of the fruit comes to the fore and the natural color and vitamins of the fruit are preserved in the best possible way. Gelier Zucker 1plus1 gives jams, marmalades and jellies a full aroma, perfect sweetness and long shelf life without preservatives - and all this with only 4 minutes cooking time. In addition to sugar, Gelier Zucker 1plus1 contains only citric acid as an acidifier and pectins as a gelling agent.

Preparation instructions:

Jam
Weigh out 1 kg of ripe, fresh fruit
Then wash (drain) and, depending on the type of fruit, remove the stalks, remove the stones, peel
Puree and mix with the contents of a packet of Gelier Zucker 1plus1 (1000 g)

Prepared fruit ½ puree and ½ cut very small
Mixed with the jelling sugar, leave to infuse for at least 3 hours (hard-fleshed/hard-skinned fruit, e.g. apricots, sour cherries overnight)

Hot juicefruits (unsweetened) and let the juice cool
Mix ¾ liter of cold fruit juice with the contents of a packet of Gelier Zucker 1plus1 (1000 g) (for fruits that gel well, e.g. currants, blackberries or quinces, use 1 liter of juice instead of ¾ liter) Cooking process
Place the food in a saucepan that should be no more than half full (prevents boiling over)
Bring to a boil over high heat - while stirring - until all the food is bubbling vigorously

Now the cooking time begins!

Fill hot rinsed jars to the brim with the hot mixture and immediately close tightly with screw cap
